Eighty students and six teachers participated in the fourteen-day tour to three major cities in the USA to experience and learn about the Creative Arts. Not even the 15-hour flight could dampen the spirits. Of course, shopping also formed an important part of the students’ free time!
The 16th annual St Peter’s College Sports and Cultural Festival is happening from Thursday to Sunday, 19 - 22 September 2019. We look forward to welcoming over 3,000 students from different schools to this hugely vibrant and fun event that we all look forward to every year.
The Creative Arts combines the disciplines of science, mathematics, foreign languages, history, physical education, but most of all art. In our extra-mural programme, these factors play a vital role as it provides a deeper meaning and understanding as well as creates respect for this art form. We believe collaboration is key in developing a holistic student.

Not only are there sports (Basketball, Chess, Netball, Soccer), but also Musical events, Pavement Art, Public Speaking and Debating, Drama and Photography competitions as well as workshops for debating adjudicators and choir leaders. Our entrepreneurial Grade 9s will be running their own businesses for two days at the Festival and will have lots of novelties on sale such as T-shirts, caps and beanies, jewellery, cell phone covers, bath bombs etc.

Old Petrian’s Water polo Girl’s Tournament
Sunninghill - St Peter’s College will be hosting the 15th Annual Old Petrian’s Water Polo Tournament for girls as well as the 4th Annual Old Petrian T20 Cricket Festival. The tournaments will take place from Thursday, 21 February – Sunday, 24 February 2019 at St Peter’s College.
On Tuesday evening 12 September, the Foundation hosted My Father’s Coat as a fundraiser for the Isematholeni Intern programme. The St Peter’s community gathered at St Peter’s College MADDitorium to listen to Michael Charton, founder of Inherit South Africa in Cape Town, tell a story.
This story, although heard many times, was unlike other stories about our country’s history - in the way it was told.

There is great excitement at the College with the 13th Annual Sports and Cultural Festival happening from Friday to Sunday, 16 - 18 September 2016 at St Peter’s College. 3,000 participants, 45 schools, plus parents, friends and families will be on campus to enjoy a feast of activities including: Soccer, Basketball, Netball, Chess, Music, Pavement Art, Debating, Public Speaking, Dance, Drama, Photography, Equestrian and even an Entrepreneurs Market.
