After graduating with Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Cape Town, I pursued a career in Information Technology. I worked for various large corporates as IT Manager and Consultant.
I became involved at St Peter’s when my children joined the primary school. As the Girls School was newly established it offered numerous opportunities to engage. I was requested to represent the Girls PA on the Prep Schools Council. This offered a wonderful growth opportunity which allowed me to become familiar with the functioning of the school, and build up an appreciation for the staff, and how the school operates.
When my children moved to St Peter’s College (SPC), I joined Council as the Trust and Bursaries representative. I gladly took on this opportunity, as it was a new area of involvement for me and presented a challenge to develop the Bursary Programme within SPC. SPC now has a fully rounded and working Bursary Programme in place, which offers bursary students a holistic experience.
I have a love for nature, and in my free time enjoy travelling, theatre, swimming, cooking and wine tasting.Read more

After graduating with a B.Comm Marketing my entire career has been in corporate marketing and am now self-employed in the building industry.
Since 2005 I have served on the Parents Association and Governing Body of St Peter’s College, and am currently a Trustee. During this time, I have learned that the overriding responsibility of school management is to provide a fully rounded education for the students in academics, sport, and cultural disciplines. This ensures that their potential is fully maximized and they leave the school as confident, law-abiding citizens, who are equipped to make positive contributions to society. Every child deserves an opportunity to receive the best possible education and the Trust provides just that for a few.
I am a Jesus follower, board member of the Village Safe Haven, a home for orphaned, abandoned and abused children, and have a passion for wild life, gardening, participating in most sports, and for the Sharks, Springboks, Proteas and Tottenham Hotspur.Read more
