St Peter’s College 20th Anniversary celebrations were held on Saturday, 16 June. It was a very special event and it gave us the opportunity to reflect and celebrate what we have achieved over the past 20 years. This celebration provided us the opportunity to welcome back to the College many of our former founding members, parents, and alumni, as well as, providing them a chance to meet each other, former teachers and other staff members. It also enabled them to notice the changes & developments in the college campus over the past 20 years.
There was excitement as the 2017 school year began at St Peter’s Girls Prep School on Wednesday, 18 January. New classes, new teachers, new stationery, books and many other new things to learn. There was great anticipation as the girls arrived at school and greeted friends and staff.

Just as there are wonderful opportunities on Social Media for our children, there are also many dangers. In today’s crazy world we, as parents, need to try and stay ahead of the game when it comes to Social Media. A frightening comment from a parent is ‘My child is so smart on his/her phone that I don’t have a clue what is going on.’ As a parent, MAKE CERTAIN that you know what is going on. You don’t want to pry too much that you alienate your child or damage trust which is been built up, but you need to be aware of what your children are doing online. Try and stay involved in a way that your child feels that you still respect their privacy, but that they understand that your involvement is for their own safety.
A dignified and moving ceremony was held in the school Chapel on Friday, 12 February 2016, to mark the start of Darrel Webb’s career as Headmaster of St Peter’s Girls School.
Bishop Steve Moreo presided over the ceremony as Darrel was ‘installed’ into his rightful place in the Chapel. Bishop Steve blessed the Webb family and asked for God’s guidance and wisdom for Darrel in his role as leader of the school. Present at the service were members of Darrel’s family, Heads from various nearby schools, members of the St Peter’s Council and PA, St Peter’s staff and girls from Grade 3 – 7.
With the start of the new 2016 academic year we welcome Darrel Webb as the new Headmaster of the Girls School.
