{image_1}What a start to 2020! It feels as if we have been at school for a month or two already. On walking around the campus in the afternoons, there is a palpable sense of excitement amongst our students and coaches.

This year is about making an impact. Staff, coaches, students, and parents are encouraged to make a positive impact on all aspects of life at St Peter’s College.

Making an impact is about doing the following in your own way:

Smiling as you go about your business.
Being present and not distracted.
Looking people in the eye.
Making an effort to get to know people.
Removing earphones/electronic devices and instead, connecting with fellow staff, students, coaches, and parents.
Listening carefully without commenting and interrupting.
Showing kindness.

The rewards of practicing these skills, with intent, are immense and interactions with people become constructive, productive and rewarding. Everyone in the St Peter’s family is challenged to #makeanimpact in their own way!

In our 22nd anniversary year, St Peter’s College is proudly hosting our 16th annual Old Petrian’s Water Polo Tournament from Thursday, 27 February to Sunday, 1 March 2020. This is the largest and most prestigious girls’ water polo tournament in the country. At the same time, St Peter’s College is hosting the Old Petrian’s T20 Cricket Tournament, which will have the exciting introduction of some of the fixtures under floodlights. It promises to be an unforgettable weekend and everyone is invited to experience the excitement and fun, as St Peter’s College showcases its talent.

We look forward to a busy, rewarding term and encourage all at St Peter’s College to make a positive impact, in your own way!
