Cancellation of the St Peter's College Sports and Cultural Event
It is with sincere regret that we inform you of the decision to cancel the St Peter’s Annual Sport and Cultural Festival that was scheduled to take place on 14 – 17 September 2020.
The decision is precautionary following the actual and projected effects that the coronavirus has on all aspects of education, including co-curricular activities. St Peter’s College has been following the government’s regulations on COVID 19 and working with constant advice from the health department and other organisation. It was with the safety of our students, families and community at large that we reached this decision.
Also, there is an uncertainty on hosting events, and the moratorium on all school sport would make it difficult for us to proceed with the event.
We understand that a lot of planning and preparation has been done and want to acknowledge this and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
We look forward to having you join us in 2021 when we hope to host all of you once again.
