Student Affairs: Every Student Matters

  • January 31, 2020 | Student Affairs

St Peter’s College values the unique contribution of each student, staff member and parent. We provide an environment of opportunity, fostering the inspiration necessary to develop our students with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to succeed now and in the future. Every student is valued and encouraged to develop their individual character and talents to the full. Confidence and maturity are nurtured by experienced academic and pastoral staff, in an atmosphere of opportunity and enquiry, and excellent structures of care in a stunning and modern campus.

We endeavour to teach our students to live up to the core values of Relationships, Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. We live in an ever-changing world where young people need to be equipped with the correct values to enable them to thrive within diverse communities.

The Pastoral Care team oversees many aspects of school life that contribute to the social and emotional well-being of the students. Student Affairs covers areas such as pastoral care, discipline, mentorship, leadership, social responsibility, spirituality and student exchanges. It seeks, through carefully designed programmes, not only to enrich the lives of our students but to also challenge them beyond their comfort zone. We are committed to developing young people with vision, energy, and enterprise who are not afraid of hard work, who can work in a team and who have the good of the greater community in mind at all times.
