Participation in the major seasonal sports is compulsory. Detailed afternoon programmes are issued at each change of season and the requirements, in terms of participation, dress and equipment, are stipulated. In particular, dress codes for each sport are clearly defined on these programmes and staff are instructed to enforce these standards at all times. The school shop is able to supply most of the required items of dress, as laid down in the dress code.
