New Policy: Acceptance Fee
The campus has enjoyed considerable development over the last ten years. The provision of top quality facilities is a priority of St Peter's, but these come with a burden of the requirement of continual renewal and maintenance.
Maintaining and improving the campus has been a concern of the Council and part of its long-range financial sustainability planning. As a consequence, in order to generate the revenue required without raising fees disproportionately, the Council has considered retaining the the acceptance fee.
This policy has been adopted by many local independent schools. Instead, it has altered the current policy to retain HALF the fee i.e. the remaining 50% will be refunded provided no monies are owed and one term's notice is given when a pupil leaves the school prior to the end of grade 7.
This new policy comes into effect on 1 Janaury 2012 for all new pupils entering the school.
The Exectutive of the school acknowledges the necessity to inform parents of the change in policy, prior to entry.
