SOCCER
In order to maintain and enhance the ideals that the Johannesburg Primary Schools Football Association (J.P.S.F.A.) has stood for over the past 70 years, Exco has found it necessary to formulate a code of conduct. Below, I have summarised what St Peter’s believes will ensure that the sport will be played safely and in the correct spirit.
· It is the duty of the coach to ensure that players are turned-out neatly and correctly.
· Shin pads are obligatory.
· Parents must be informed by schools that while their support is valued, any criticism and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.
· Teams should greet each other before the game and thank each other after. Criticism of referee’s decisions will not be tolerated.

Open/U12 1st, 2nd, 3rd and U11 teams play Inter-school fixtures on Thursdays in the Independent schools league. U9 and U10 have a weekly consolidation practice that focuses on skills taught in the Physical Education Programme with small groups of + 12 boys.
Practices continue throughout the Trinity term.
