In 1995 Diepsloot Combined School was selected to partner St Peter's in their Community Partnership programme.

In more recent years, Sefikeng School, based in the grounds of Leeukop Prison, joined this partnership.

Some of the challenges facing the schools include:

• Overcrowding
• Lack of facilities and equipment
• Poor maintenance
• Social problems
• Poverty
• HIV/AIDS (orphans and child-headed families)
• Pupils with barriers to learning

A percentage of profit from PA events is donated to the schools. Projects are approved by the School and PA, followed by involvement from pupils, staff and parents in seeing these projects to fruition.
