During 1995, it was decided by St Peter's Council, Staff and Parents that the school engage in an Outreach
Programme. A committee wqas formed and an agreement reached on the vision, which is as follows:

In the current climate of transformation, reconstruction and development, St Peter's will have an active interest in and be energetically concerned about the process of change. It should be positively engaged in policies of social and educational outreach and be committed to proactive programmes aimed at the greater fulfilment of all people, but especially children, including the pupils of St Peter's themselves.

Partnerships

Dipesloot Combined School was first selected to partner St Peter's in 1995. More recently, Sefikeng School, based in the grounds of Leeukop Prison, has been included in the Community Partnership programme.
